Policies, Procedures and Resolutions (PPR) form the third leg of the governing documents triumvirate.

Maintaining a decision ledger seems like it should be mandatory, yet many organizations fail to do so and instead sift through dozens of individual meeting minute records (yes, those are the official records, but they need not be the only reference point) in order to identify prior decisions, spending authorizations, etc.
